How to Restore, Recover Deleted Contacts (Phone Number) from Motorola Droid?

In order to make sure your mobile phone can be successfully recognized by the program, you'd better to root your Motorola phone and then enable USB debugging on your device before launching the program. Below is several ways for you to open USB debugging.

- For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
- For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
- For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode",  Then you may back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging".

Step 1. Run the Program and Scan for Files

Directly use a USB cable to link your Motorola Droid, Atrix, etc. to the computer, and then launch the program easily. Then you'll see an interface like below. When your device is detected by the program, it will start scanning for files like contacts, messages on your phone automatically.

Here is one thing you should pay attention: if your Motorola Droid is running on a system of Android 4.2.2 or above, then when you have linked your phone to PC and have USB debugging enabled, you should also go to your mobile phone and check "OK" button on the device just like the below.

Step 2. Preview the Detailed Contacts

After the scan, you can choose the option of "Contacts" in the left panel, and then the whole contacts list (including the deleted and exiting contacts) will be displayed in the right panel. The deleted contacts will be marked in red color, so you can only go through these contacts and mark the one you need to restore. Or you can click any contact to see whether it is the one you're looking for.

Step 3. Begin to Recover
